the most eggcellent sugar cookies
1.5 c buttter, softened 1 c white sugar 1 c confectioner’s sugar 4 eggs 2 tsp vanilla 5 c all-purpose flour 2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp salt *i like to add about 1-2 tbsp of lemon zest just to up flavor, butt not necessary at all
- cream together butter and sugar until smooth - beat in eggs and vanilla - sift in flour, baking powder and salt - cover and chill the dough for at least one hour...
